We started having a problem a few days ago with the recordings of Philo’s Hallmark Drama channel 6092 being stuck at the end of the recording when we go to watch the recording. It has now happened on 4 recordings in a row over several days. When you click on the “Watch” button the recording displays but the time line is stuck at the end of the recording and if you aren’t quick to hit the rewind button it flashes back to the recording list screen thinking the recording has finished and you done watching it. The only way you can watch the recording is the quickly hold the rewind button to take you slowly back to the beginning. And if you pause the playback and try to restart it, it will jump to the end of the time line again and think you’re done and flash back to the recording list page again. It is really annoying. Any ideas how to solve this problem? It doesn’t happen on any other channel that we have experienced so far.
What device and version
Using AppleTV to connect to my Linux (Ubuntu) server running ChannelsDRV version 2022.01.13.2139. But like I said it just started happening a few days ago and only on that one channel. The other Hallmark channels play recordings just fine. I just checked and it does the same thing when I try playing the recording on my iPad, but NOT when I try to play it back on my Linux server using ChannelsDVR.
So I guess there is no answer to my problem…?
Most likely the recordings have timestamp issues.
Do any of the problem recordings show as interrupted?
You can check the dvr log for when one was recorded and see if it rewrote timestamps and also what the [MTS] Statistics were for it.
