I get three Hallmark channels with Sling, but none of them are picked up by TVE. When I go to edit the channel lineup, it shows all three as "login not supported". Rescanning doesn't help.
Is there a trick I am missing?

Not according to Sling
Just got done with Sling support. They cannot say if TVE supports their login for Hallmark, but they said some TV providers do not allow access to their content outside of Sling's app. I'm guessing Hallmark is one of those.
Not on the HallmarkEverywhere website. Sling is not an option as a provider (nor is AT&T Now or Hulu, but Fubo is).

If you get it working, don't expect TVE to work for Hallmark Drama. I've had both Philo and Spectrum and just the Hallmark Drama channel did not work with TVE.
Hallmark Drama does not offer a linear live stream on their website, therefore it is not available in Channels.
Remember, only websites that accept TV Everywhere and have linear live streams have any possibility of being available in Channels.
