I am in the long process of switching from cable to directv stream. For a dvr, I am considering channels. I used to use channels dvr years ago with locast before that was shut down. My question is does anyone have experience with directv strream tve and channels. If so, how many channels work over tve. My main question, is do you get metv via tve and if so, how. thanks

Probably not what you want to hear, but you can get MeTV in Channels DVR with a sub to frndlyTV and this Frndly TV for Channels will get it into Channels DVR with their other channels.

No, we do not support Hauppauge tuner cards and do not have any plans to add support for them at this time. SiliconDust HDHomeRun tuners are the only tuners we support directly.

Depends on the docker implementation on the device you run docker on.
I use Synology NAS's and the docker daemon and containers start after a reboot.
You can also run it under Python3 if you don't want to use a docker container.
