Having problems syncing m3u and xml guide entries

I've been trying to setup a custom m3u file and corresponding xml tv listing. I was having no luck so I decided to try to start the project by copying an entry from a working m3u file and an entry from the xml guide for that channel. The original files work but my copies do not. I thought the problem might be a duplicated channel-id so I also tried changing that in both files - still no luck. The m3u seems to load OK and the channel shows up but according to the log it always skips the entry it finds in the guide xml. I've made sure to change the start and end time for the show so it's always in the future. I'm obviously doing something wrong but I have not been able to figure out what that is. Here's a copy of my m3u and epg files along with the log from my last attempt. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Maybe try removing the +0000 part, or change + to - (from start/stop)

Tried both - still no luck. Same result posted in log file.

OK - I did more playing around with the start and stop fields and I was able to get some guide entries to show up. That's the good news. I loaded up a bunch of entries that started with a timestamp of 160000 +0000. Each entry was 30 minutes and the last one was for the 19th at 12:30AM. Instead of starting at 4PM like I expected the entries for 160000 and 163000 got skipped and the entries that started at 170000 loaded at noon and continued to load 30 minutes apart. So - somehow my guide entries are getting time shifted backwards 5 hours during processing. Since that would correspond to the time as GMT instead of CST that must mean there's a setting somewhere that I need so my entries don't get converted. Can someone tell me where I set that option?

Looks like your program start and stop timestamps are missing seconds...
