I installed the DVR on Sunday. Yesterday, there was a Channels update to my Apple TV and the DVR section (recordings, etc) disappeared. A force quit of the app did not bring it back. I had to reboot the Apple TV. Today, I rebooted the DVR host machine while Channels was open, and again, force quit never brought the DVR tabs up top back, I had to restart to get DVR goodness back on.
Any workaround for this I"m not aware of/can’t find? To be fair, I’ve seen flaky behavior from other apps that won’t work until I restart (Cartoon Network notoriously goes on the fritz and won’t work til a reboot. Force quit doesn’t help). I realize a force quit should do it, but I can promise it doesn’t.
