HD HomeRun disconnecting daily

I have been using Channels DVR almost two years now without issues. Recently added some IPTV services but otherwise no changes to network configuration, router settings, etc.

I was very happy with it until a week ago it lost track of my HDHomeRun. A bit of probing of the network showed while other devices could pick up Bonjour from the HD HomeRun, the Mac hosting Channels DVR server couldn’t until a reboot. Now every morning I wake up to Channels server not accessing the tuner (and Channels server not being visible to my Channels clients) until I reboot the Mac. Any ideas what could be doing this?

ChannelsDVR version 2022.08.08.206 running on MacOS 10.13.6 (High Sierra) on a iMac with 16GB RAM and over 100GB free storage space on DVR drive. MacOS Firewall is off.

I had that same issue after I enabled the newly enhanced tuner sharing during early testing. I since disabled it and I no longer see the issue. I'm running a Windows server with android clients.

I ended up solving the issue, it was my fault. I had a script that fired up a VPN overnight to perform some off site backups… it wasn’t disconnecting the VPN!
