HD HomeRun from remote site?

I have a HD HomeRun located at a remote site that I want to use as part of my ChannelsDVR setup. How do I get this working? Each of the remote site and the local site use a UDM through AT&T fiber.

Best way to do this is to have a local CDVR server at the remote site connected with Tailscale to your main site. Then configure the CDVR at remote site on the main DVR via m3u.

If they're all UDMs, you can the Site Manager's "Site Magic" to link the instances, essentially creating a virtual site-to-site VPN. Then just add them to your DVR by IP address. (Of course, your account needs to be the "owner" of each UDM to get access to Site Magic and advanced features across sites.)

(I do the same for shares with Infuse and Jellyfin. One site is UDMP, the other 3 are UCGs, so I know this works.)

I really don't like how you have literally explained my entire setup

Its like a technical jump scare

If you do something like this i would recommend the hub and spoke and exposing a single vlan that just has the services/containers that you actually want everyone to have access to

You never know when your nieces and nephews become hacker man

I have no clue what you are trying to say.

Again, what?

Well, yes, of course you only expose the main networks to each other. Your management, IoT, surveillance, etc., and other VLANs should never be exposed to other instances/nodes.

The OP mentioned they were using UI gear, and I pointed out a quick and easy way to achieve their goal with the software already available to them.

Sorry was just making a joke because I have the same setup
