I just installed
Silicon Dust HDFX-4US tuner with a USB drive attached. The Hdhomerun records to the USB drive. Will Channels DVR work with this setup? The external drive is formatted for the tuner.i stream with Firestick, so of the Channels DVR is app based it might work. This new system is not a NAS or attached to computer.
No. that usb storage only works with the HDHR own app and dvr software.
