Just want the 3.0 DRM fix. All my channels are getting protected. Started with 7 now down to 2, 1 I can't pick up.

There's nothing to fix, the people that manage and hand out the keys to decrypt the streams will not give those keys to SiliconDust. Nothing for SD to do at this point.

Even if the A3SA relents and finally grants approval to SiliconDust, they've said multiple times it would only be for their own HDHomeRun app on platforms that support the required level of Widevine DRM. i.e. non-rooted Google Play certified Android devices.

3rd party platforms like Channels will have to strike their own deals with the A3SA, which would require them to do things like block out of home streaming for the protected channels and prevent you from using those recordings with video editing software, and it would likely have the same platform restrictions which would prevent them from being viewable on devices that only have baked in support for other DRM solutions like MIcrosoft's PlayReady and Apple's Fairplay.

If and when the HDHomeRun app is able to play DRM Channels I will add them to ADBTUNER which is ready and able to control HDHomeRun app.

If the A3SA gets wind of that happening, they'll likely revoke HDHomeRun's access to the DRM keys until they lock down their app to enforce HDCP restrictions that blacklist any HDMI encoders. The A3SA's lawyers would probably go after you too

Boy are you paranoid or what lol.

Not paranaoid, just giving you a warning . There's a massive crackdown going on right now with multiple repositories and even some Discord servers being taken down for providing ways to circumvent DRM protection, even without DRM involved it has been a problem like what happened with the mjh.nz playlists for Pluto and others a few months ago. Not to mention stuff like that is the LAST thing that you should be posting if you want SiliconDust to ever be able to convince the A3SA that their proposed DRM solution for network gateways is secure enough for final approval at their upcoming meeting.

New Forum police I see lol ...

Most of the existing DRM-enabling tuner boxes don’t currently enforce HDCP either. I think you’re giving the “brain trust” at A3SA a little too much credit

You could do this now with a number to the tuners that support DRM.

ATSC 3 is DOA
They are digging their own grave.
