I just noticed that a lot of my shows tonight (11/3) did not record. When I look at the log I see lots of failed errors all saying "HDHomeRun: 806 Tune Failed". What is this and how do I fix it. The thing is the on one of the channels, my local fox station I recorded a nil game just fine and then the Simpsons, but 30 min later family guy was a fail.
Most likely the Tuning Adapter, if you use one.
SiliconDust says this about an 806 error.
806 Tune Failed (TA reported an error (PRIME only), or hardware error)
