HDHomeRun ATSC 3 Tuner Question

Sorry if this was answered before, I did some searching on this forum using ATSC as the subject but didn't see anything related to the question.

Since the new tuners has 4 tuners but only 2 are ATSC, what happens if you are using all 4 tuners on ATSC 1.0 (say ABC=1, CBS=2, NBC=3, FOX=4) and you run FOX to an ATSC 3 channel but the Fox feed was using a ATSC 1 channel. Will it return an error (channel cannot be tuner, or all tuners in use) or does the Tuner switch the streams around to free up the ATSC 3 tuner so you can tune into the Fox ATSC 3 feed?

My local ABC station has started broadcasting in ATSC 3, so am debating picking up a tuner to try out.

TIA

ATSC 1 channels are tuned on the plain 1.0 tuners first. If both 1.0 tuners are in use, then the 3.0 tuners are tried. Once a tuner is in use, it is essentially "locked"; the system will not "swap" or "shuffle" tuners around.

In addition to what racameron posted

Yes, all tuners in use.

In Channels DVR your
ATSC 1.0 channels are numbered like 2.1, 10.1, 13.1
ATSC 3.0 channels are numbered like 102.1, 110.1, 113.1

So if ATSC 1.0 Fox is channel 2.1, ATSC 3.0 Fox would be channel 102.1.

Thanks, that's what I figured it would do. Suppose since nothing is "not" working, best to leave it along until things are further along. I'm assuming at some point SD will release a 4 Tuner version that includes 3.0 on all tuners, best to wait until then.

I'm getting local ATSC 3.0 channels on 104.1, 105.1, 107.1, and 109.1, but the guide is blank for these channels. Any way to "clone" the guide from the ATSC 1.0 channels (4.1, 5.1, 7.1, 9.1)? I can't record on ATSC 3.0 without the guide.

On the dvr web UI, click the gear next to your HDHR and select Sync Mapping
