I activated my HDHomeRun and everything went well except all the channels sourced from my HDHR is missing the guide data only on the iPad. Shows up on the Shield and all other devices. Any ideas why? Thanks much
Sheldon
I noticed this too but it was because it was on iOS 13 and not 14. What iOS version are you on?
iPhone is 14.6 and iPad is also 14.6 which is the most current I believe. So strange as it works on everything else I have tried. Normally probably no big deal but my wife programs all her recordings on her iPad. If it is important to her it is important to me!
thanks for the try.
I would recommend submitting diagnostics from the client settings to see if the Devs can see whatโs going wrong. Have you already tried force-quitting and re-launching the app?
Force quit and restating has not helped. I only know how to send logs from the server but not an iOS client.
Not sur it would help. I sent logs in a couple weeks ago and still have not heard anything back. Iโll keep working on it.
Can anyone tell me if the client sets the recording source or if that is the server? I noticed that each client can have a different source and priority.
Thanks
Recording source priority is on the server. Client source priority is for viewing only.
Have a look at the FAQ. It also takes into account HD and favourites:
Only other thing I would recommend is deleting the app and reinstalling.
Thank you! I had read the FAQ but they never really mention the client priorities is for only viewing. They should consider adding your sentence to the FAQ. I will simply change the source on her iPad as it is only for scheduling recordings. Not a fix but a work around. Reload ing the app did not correct the issue. Thanks again!
