Good evening everyone. I just started using my HD Connect Quarto again since updating my router. It’s connected to the network and I can manage it through my.hdhomerun.com but when I go into Channels Web UI and try to add it to my DVR it will not show up. I click the drop down to “rescan” and nothing. I can add it by IP and it shows up in my Channel apps but does not add it as a source on the web ui. I’m guessing this is why I only get the “watch” and no Record option when I’m using the app on my iOS devices? I’ve power off/on my Nas(WD PR2100) and stopped started DVR option on web UI and nothing seems to get it to appear. Does anyone have any ideas on what maybe causing it not to show up?
What kind of router did you switch to? Is the HDHR on the same subnet as your DVR server?
I switched to the Orbi router and the HDHR is plugged into the satellite. Yes, on the same subnet as the DVR Server.
Not an Orbi user but I remember (about ~ a year ago) reading that there was an issue with Obri and HDHR units. I just did a Google search and got back a lot of results. You might want to Google it also and check out these links to see if any apply to you.
