HDHomerun Tuner/DVR/Hoobs (Raspberry Pi)/USB Storage

Hello. I have the following configuration:

-HDHomerun Tuner
-Western Digital Hard Drive attached directly to back of it via USB
-Hoobs (Raspberry Pi) which I installed Channels DVR server onto as well
-So how do I get the Channels DVR web configuration to detect the USB hard drive connected to the HDHomerun which sits outside of the Raspberry Pi at a different IP address on my home network?

Hard drives attached to HDHR tuners are only available for use with SD's own DVR software. There is no way for other software—such as Channels—to make use of those drives.

If you want to use the drive with Channels, connect it directly to your Pi.
