I keep getting packet corrupt in my logs and the picture freezes for a second. I noticed this in my logs:

Appeareantly the ffmpeg in channels dvr does not like fox 5 for some reason.

You can check the antenna signal maybe you need to adjust the direction

I have a signal strentgh in the high 90s on my hdhr and am pointed at the tower so that is not it.

You might want to have SiliconDust get some diagnostics.
If it's happening with only one channel on different HDHR tuners, it's most likely your antenna, amp, coax, splitters or the station.

There's no need to try to do this. As @chDVRuser said, you're going to have to fix the issues with your reception.

my antenna is pointed directly at the towers. I have the shortest wires possible. It is only with this one channel. Is it possible the errors are from the source, that fox changed something for the world cup and it is being interpreted as an error.

Your noise floor is too high and SNQ (Signal to Noise) is dropping.
When you aim the antenna you want to maximize SNQ. 100% is the target.

for what it's worth the last few weeks I have been having problems too with 2 channels wb&abc (same carrier channel) a few days back I lost them completely. I've been waiting till the weekend to grab the antenna and scribe dvr from my dad's house since he doesn't use it anyway. I did find 1 reference to the local abc station doing some work a few weeks, back, but was kinda vague and nothing on their site.
when I get the 3rd hdhr and antenna here I'll work with them on it to.

It seems to be related to the content displayed. during the game it was barely glitching after it started to act up again. It is freezing in the hdhr app at the same time as channels but I noticed in stats on the android app it says 0 dropped frames on decoder but a ton of them on output.

Could be a thousand things causing a reduced Signal to Noise ratio.
Transmitter, leaves in the line of sight to the transmitter, signal reflection causing multipath, nearby cell towers or other transmitter, etc.
SiliconDust are the experts. All we can do is guess.

updated backend sigerr in android app seems to bounce around with different content. was at 6% now is at 14%

Have you tried tweaking your antenna alignment to get 100% SNQ on that channel

Signal Strength is important, but not AS IMPORTANT as SNQ.
You want enough Signal Strength to decode the signal, but the quality (SNQ) of the signal is also important.

Think of it as being in a noisy environment where you're trying to listen to someone and have to hear every word they say clearly.

Signal Strength is how loud they're talking.
Signal Quality is how clearly you can hear every word over the background noise.
That's what the SNQ is.

Even if they're yelling (Signal Strength 100%), but the background noise is too much (SNQ < 100%), you won't be able to hear it clearly.
