Having trouble setting up Mac mini. Was running Channels DVR on MacBook Pro with all media saved to share on 4TB MyCloud NAS as a test. Uninstalled from MacBook Pro and installed on 2011 Mac Mini (4GB, 500GB) DVR pointing again to the share on 4TB MyCloud NAS. It set up fine but only the settings tab is now showing. None of the guide, recordings, DVR history was recognized. It sees the NAS reporting data size remaining and also recognizes the HDHomeRun Prime with cable card. What do I need to do so it gets my history from the NAS share?
You need to restore the settings onto the new installation, by unchecking the DVR box and then going to http://127.0.0.1:8089/restore

I typed to soon. I am unable to play recorded show from the AppleTV or the Web UI. If I press play for the recording in the AppleTV it immediately quits back to the listing page. In the Web UI it shows transcoded finished after 1 sec but when play is pressed nothing happens.
What does the Log say?
Sounds like either the DVR path is incorrect, or the permissions on the old files/directories aren’t letting the DVR access them.

Looks like permissions are wrong, and perhaps the directory is wrong as well? You will need to figure out how to fix the “permission denied” and “no such file or directory” errors.
Find that volume in finder and right click “Get Info” to check the permissions set on it.
