Help needed with correct m3u format for TV Shows

Good Morning

I have been struggling with getting the correct format to have a TV series show up as 1 item and then
the individual episodes as children if you will to the parent. I have tried editing the m3u I am using according to this as a guide: Channels Support - Add Custom Channels with M3U Playlists no matter what I have tried it always shows up as individual items in the guide.

Yes I could use local media and that does work, but I am hopeful that Channels dvr will allow me to set the base of some shows I dont already have and I can then use the dvr function to build out from there.

I have had no success, I am not even sure if this is possible from an m3u. Here is a sample of the m3u (I listed only 2 episodes as I believe once I know the correct format or what I am missing I can edit all the rest:

Thank you in advance for any guidance or advice you can provide

M3U only works for live TV

Fair enough Thank you for the quick response greatly appreciated? Do you know if this may be something that would be on the horizon for Channels dvr?

It is not. Custom Channels feature is used to add live TV channels. If you want to add media there are other ways to do it such as Imports and Stream Files
