Help with Automatic Channel Keywords

I am trying to use the Automatic Channels feature for a new Channel Collection but getting some strange results. I am probably doing something wrong but looking to filter for a two-word keyword and it doesn't want to work like I expect. It seems that a keywords only work for certain sources if there is a matching program currently playing. Oddly, It does pickup future programs for the E+TV source, just not for other sources. In particular, this happens with two-word keywords, but also with just a single keyword. I have checked in the guide as well and the results are the same, just showing the preview in the examples. see below.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Without any keywords the Preview shows several Sports

Add a one-word keyword (e.g. Georgia) and the filter works as expected

Same but with two-word keyword (e.g. Georgia Tech), works fine.

With a single keyword but no currently running program e.g. (Carolina). It misses the game at 1:00 on ESPNU but picks up 3 games in the future on E+TV

With a two-word keyword (e.g. North Carolina) I get similar results

I may be misinterpreting, but want to make sure it's clear:

Automatic Channel rules only check the currently airing item, not anything in the future. The point is that it pulls channels into the collection based one what's currently airing.

That's right. I was taking another look with the rollout of the Personal Sections. It is odd though that it doesn't appear to apply to programs on E+TV.

Shoot, I was hoping that the new Personal Sections would allow me to finally get my coveted "Favorite Shows" Functionality. I get pretty close with season passes and up-next.

Anyway, thanks for the quick response.

Similar to topic, trying to search for exact match. example "Trump" finds Trump, Trumpet, Trumped...Can an exact match be found using keywords, or are we stuck with all the extras not related to desired results?

That's how keyword searching currently works

Ok, disappointing, was hoping for a regular expression type answer. Moving on. Thanks

We can definitely look at improving it, and I totally get your concern.

The only issue is how it would change people’s existing rules, as this feature has been in place and used for years.

And honestly this is the first time we’ve heard this feedback (not that others haven’t also run into the limitation without commenting directly to us)

Thanks, first time I've attempted to use this feature and this immediately looked like a shortcoming, since I was looking for "Trump" and literally got 7 results, none of which had "Trump", only trumpet and trumped. Thanks again for the consideration.
