Hi I am hoping someone can please help. I keep getting these warnings when I put on port forwarding.. Does anyone know what they are and Is? And if I should worry?? Thanks
What is sending you this notification? Any ports exposed to the internet will likely be scanned and possibly receive connection attempts. Those attempts will not succeed without proper authentication. My first guess is that something on your network is alerting you about these attempts. It’s nothing to worry about.
Hi thanks for reply, it is my modem through Xfinity/Comcast.
It’s protections in your router. It’s trying to protect you.
You need to somehow tell it these ports are ok to pass traffic through.
