Currently, the selected show is made slightly larger in a folder. This can be very hard to see, particularly when one deletes a show in the middle of the folder and the view centers.
My wife suggested a colored or bright box around the enlarged icon to make it stand out better. This should be simple to implement be a great improvement to usability.
We discovered this as we don't watch Olympic events in order and there are both duplicates and ones we are not interested in.
I agree, it has always been difficult to quickly see the selected show. Some sort of back highlighting would help significantly.
The Apple TV actually has this selection as an option in settings. It really does help to see what is currently selected. Go to Settings> Accessibility> Display> Focus style> High contrast. This is only for Apple TV icons. But it does give you a good idea of what would be nice to have a Channels.
