Channels Apple TV Troubleshooting

I found an odd little issue while using Channels with my OG Homepod. I am using the experimental driver which honestly has made the experience so much better. But, if I am in the middle of watching something, then turn off the tv without exiting the stream, the TV will shut off, the appletv shuts off and the sound stops. A few seconds later the audio stream will pick back up and play through the Homepod….while everything is still off. I’ve also had it change channels and play audio from a different channel….while everything is still off.

Am I special or is this a known bug?

Stop the video player when you’re not watching anymore. This is a best practice for many reasons.

My 6 year old would argue with you. :slight_smile:

I'll tell him that but still a bug I wanted to let you know that I've never experienced until I switched to the homepod.
