I totally HATE Channels DVR and regret the day I even tried it. Now I can't remove it from my imac. And it is logging everything I do on my computer. It is intrusive and scary.
I want to get rid of it, but I can't. Please help.
IIRC, you can run the install program...it should give you an option to “Uninstall”
Can you elaborate? I don't think Channels DVR software is tracking your computer usage.
Download and run the Mac installer from getchannels.com/dvr-server and pick the uninstall option.
Our system doesn't show that you ever signed up for Channels DVR, so maybe you're thinking of some other software.

I also tried this method of riding my Mac of this software with no success and I promise after the month of troubleshooting it I was definitely using this software.
