How does this set up sound

I have been using my r620 2x E5 2640 V2. This uses software decoding.

I am going to fire up my Dell Precision 3040 i5 -6500 which has quicksync and I can do hardware coding on it. I have a 10tb external that Im considering shucking and putting into the Dell precision for main hard drive. I wonder though Can I install Plex on my Channels DVR Server?

On my NVidia Shield Pro, I have both running:
* Channels DVR Server - recording TV Everywhere shows
* Plex Media Server - for accessing my personal media
So far they both seem to coexist and work just fine....
