How often do you sync?

So I had an issue this morning...it's resolved.

During some troubleshooting, I thought I would resync my hdhomerun prime for no apparent reason....I found more channels. I wasn't aware I had to resync that....I thought any new channels from the cable card would show automatically, similar to a cablebox. I ended up with about 30 new channels.

So now knowing this I guess I should resync more often, how often do you all re sync your hdhomerun prime and the tve channels?

Is there an auto sync that will run periodically I can turn on for middle of the night syncing

Are you talking about channel scan or something else?

Do you use a tuning adapter?

Yea sorry bad terminology there..

Yes I mean scan for new channels.

The PRIME does a auto-rescan every 3 days unless you use a tuning adapter
