I have multiple clients, but I want to block some of the clients from the capability to schedule recording. Just been able to watch live or recorded programs. Is there a way? Thanks
As far as I know the only way is to force kids mode on those devices from the server. Doing that has side effects on the guide and library though. There has been talk for an “old people mode” but hasn’t yet been built. I haven’t tried but you may be able to force kids mode but also add a channels collection that includes the channels you want not just kid’s channels.
This was added for the apple clients, but not the android clients yet.
You can use the server side setting to prevent a single client from being able to record.
Only for AppleTV Clients ....

Thank you guys for your prompt response. Most of the clients I want to block from recording are on Firestick. Can you still do it? if, yes how can I block them? Thanks again for your support
As mentioned, this is only available on tvOS and iOS clients at the moment.

Thank you again for your support. It is a shame that we don't have that feature and I believe multiple people would need it, since you can block children, tenants or unwanted people from recording. Would this be available in the near future?
Of course, it just hasn't made it in yet.
