How to configure Channels DVR on WHS2011?

Hi, I have installed (via RDP) the Windows version of Channels DVR on a headless Windows Home Server 2011 (which I also runs a Plex server very well). However I am unable to configure the Channels DVR on the WHS locally via the web browser as the web page doesn't display in IE on the server when you go to http://127.0.0.1:8089. It just shows a blank web page. This may be because "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration is enabled" by default on WHS2011.

I don't really want to switch off the enhanced security on the server and would prefer to configure the DVR via another locally connected machine. However if I try and access the WHS from another machine by going to http://192.168.0.xxx:8089 then the connection just times out and I can't reach the DVR configuration page. I can, however, access the WHS2011 remote access page from the same machine if I do to http://192.168.0.xxx and I can also ping the server successfully.

Any ideas how I can access the Channels DVR configuration page?

You need to configure whatever firewall is being used to allow access to port 8089

Yes you right. I didn't realise the default installation of WHS2011 uses "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" and its well locked down. I have opened TCP port 8089 and that has fixed the problem.
