How to debug what happened when something doesn't record?

First race of the Formula 1 season and Channels didn't record it. No errors. No partially complete recording. Nothing. It just didn't record it, even though it said it was going to, and other stuff recorded fine.

Is there a way to debug what happened here? A log of what it was going to do vs. what actually happened? I'm mystified, and a little angry.

I'm looking in the log in the web ui at /admin/log and the scheduled recording never even comes up. It never even mentions it. In the time it was supposed to happen, there's just nothing.

Are you sure it was on the Schedule?

It was displayed at /admin/dvr/jobs as scheduled, of course it is gone now as it is in the past.

But it's not in the log, it's as if it was never there.

Was it scheduled manually? Via a pass? What are the pass details

It was scheduled via a Series Pass.

The same thing happened again this week, it just skipped right over the recording. I guess I'll just schedule it manually next week instead to see if there's any difference.
