I can't figure out how to display Closed Captions on either the Windows browser on the server, or on the Fire Stick that is plugged into my TV.
Any help would be appreciated.

When watching TV—live or recorded—press "Down" on the remote to bring up the Quick Guide. From there, switch from the "Info" tab to the "Language" tab. From there you can select the audio and caption tracks to use.
I got the captions working on the FireStick, but I get no options when viewing on the Windows server with FireFox.
If you pause in the web player, you ought to see a "CC" logo in the bottom-right of the video. It might be dependent upon the browser, though ... it shows in Safari, but I haven't checked on my desktop in a while. (I'm pretty sure it shows there, though, if I remember from the past.)
I pause player in either FireFox or Microsoft Edge, and there is no CC to click on.
In my Firefox, shortly after starting a stream, I get the "CC" icon in the lower right of the video. This is on 83.0.
(It also shows up in Chrome (87.0.4280.88).)
I'm not sure why I could not get the "CC" on the screen before, but now I get it on some channels. I guess that means it is not available sometimes. Thanks to all.
How did you get the closed captions to work? I have enabled them on FireStick settings, but they don't work with my Channels DVR.
You have to be more specific about the source of the data. Some sources, like Pluto, transmit CC in a way that Channels can not decode them. Sometimes the source of a particular show just doesn't have CC, even though the original program had them.
If Channels has the data, do the following on your FireStick remote:
If there is nothing like "Track 1" under options, then that recording doesn't have them.
