I ran into problems using Channels DVR on my original computer. I uninstalled Channels and reinstalled in an effort to fix the problem. I have since purchased a new computer. I have Channels DVR up and running on the new computer. I am using the same external drive for my recordings that was used on the old computer.
I plunked around to see if I could get Channels to import my previous recordings, but had no luck. I attempted to use the customs channels as a source, however, I don't understand how to use the settings.
I am sure there must be a way for Channels to recognize the recorded programs on my external drive. Is there a tutorial for this or can someone advise me on how I can pull these programs back into Channels. I am using the same drive letter on the new computer as I used on the old. The external drive was simply moved from one computer to the other.
