How to manage recordings with wrong show details

We've gone nearly a week with zero internet and as a result have had almost nothing but failed recordings. Guide data for our OTA source is quickly getting outdated and will become non-existent if we don't get internet service back soon.

On Saturday I had to record "Weird Earth" for 4 hours to get the Wash St at Oregon St football game, and if I don't remember that I will quickly forget how to navigate to that show. Is there any way to change how that kind of recording gets identified in the Library so it will be grouped with all the other "College Football" recordings?

It won't be grouped because the Series ID isn't the same and you can't edit that.
You can edit Metadata to change the Title though.

You might be able to Import it and do a fix match?
Then edit the Metadata.

I thought the Series ID used to be editable, but maybe that was only for imported shows. Perhaps my best bet is to save it to a source folder with a name that starts with "College Football" and hope I can get it matched to existing recordings,

You should be able to find/fix match to Series ID 191261
Series ID 191261 - College Football

Not sure if you can match the game (episode), since zap2it (gracenote) lists it as Season 0 Episode 3384
