How to move Channels DVR storage paths to a new hard drive on same computer

I have followed the instructions to move Channels DVR Server to a new computer before and that worked fine. However, I have added another M.2 drive to my motherboard and wanted to move my DVR and DVR Storage paths to that new drive. I don't really want to uninstall and reinstall Channels just to move the DVR and DVR Storage paths.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Chuck

Uncheck dvr checkbox and change the path underneath

Thanks but one more question, after I uncheck the dvr checkbox, would I then move the folder with the database and my recordings to the new drive? Right now, I have the database and all the dvr recordings in folder called "Channels DVR" and "S" drive, I want to move it to the new "D" drive.

Thanks,
Chuck

Yes you would move all the data if you're changing your primary storage.

Or you can add it back as an additional storage path.

Thanks for your help!

I'm having the same issue. I uncheck the box, move all the recordings to the new drive. Then I enable the server by checking the box and add the path to the storage path for the new drive but there is no way to remove the old original path. So as soon as I reenabled the server it recreated the ChannelsDVR directory and it looks like new recording will still go to the original disk and not the new one.

I figured it out. Change the path right by the checkbox. duh...
