How to only record HD channel and not SD?

I'm new to Channels DVR but I don't see an option to only record HD and not the SD version of a program? I've searched the forum and I think it's supposed to automatically select HD but perhaps something isn't working. (or it grabbed it from my TV Everywhere source maybe?)

For example, I select 'Spongebob Squarepants' to record all episodes and it selected the SD version for all 10+ recordings so far.

Regardless, is it possible to completely disable SD recordings? I think there should be an option in the UI so I can always enable/disable SD recordings.

In advanced passes, you can include a tag for HDTV. Alternatively, you can specify the channels that the pass should or should not record.

Thanks for the information. I was looking in the Apple TV UI for an option but I think your are talking about the Channels DVR web interface?

Yes, advanced pass config is in the web ui. It offers a way to do what you are asking.

You can also go to my.hdhomerun.com and hide all the SD channels
