How to record scheduler episode if interrupted

This issue has happened before and still can’t figure out the solution.

Our power was interrupted when a scheduled recording was taking place. After the DVR came back up, the UI shows its recording but there is no recording.

How do you can the scheduled recording and then manually record it without deleting the entire Pass

Depends on what happened to the scheduled recording.

If it shows in scheduled recordings as failed, the pass will schedule the next airing of the episode. But that doesn't happen until the next guide refresh or pausing/resuming the pass or editing the pass. If your pass is set to record NEW only you would need to change it.

If it shows in recordings as Delayed or Interrupted, you have to manually schedule recording another airing from the shows upcoming airings or the guide.

Pausing and resuming fixed it.
