Trying to work out why Channels DVR audio from my appletv in the lounge is getting sent to the Bedroom Sonos.
All other apps on the Appletv are playing through the lounge sound system.
How is it doing this and why?
Any ideas?
Try restarting the app? Click TV/Home twice and swipe up.
Or you can try changing Settings > Playback > Advanced > Audio Decoder

No change.
The only way out in the end was to force something else to play into the bedroom Sonos.
I didn’t know you can just push audio from the Channels DVR to an external speaker...

The only way this could work is with airplay.
Using Control Center on your Apple TV, you can choose which airplay speakers your Apple TV will output from. Did you check there?
Yes I did, but I have not seen a setting where only channels DVR sound is output and all other apps don’t.
It’s certainly a mystery that only a single app would be doing it.
Very odd indeed.
Plex played through the sound system . The Apple navigation ‘clicks’ came through sound system.
Just the Channels DVR went to the bedroom sonos.
