How to remove channels I don't get

I gave sling a try last night, thinking that it would give me a few channels that Philo doesn't provide (news channels for example). I quickly learned that sling doesn't allow MANY channels to pass through to TVE, so it was worthless for me. I immediately canceled it.

Now my problem is that although I've deleted sling as a source, I still have some channels that it provided in my guide. I no longer have access to these channels, but they're still in the guide and of course if I try to play them, I get an error. If I go into Philo and click the scan button that shows information on individual channels and allows rescan of the individual channels, I see the offending channels and they indicate that this channel doesn't work with TVE. Not sure why these show up in Philo as they don't even have these channels in their lineup.

Does anyone know how I can remove the channels I no loger have access to? I've tried running scans, etc. Nothing seems to remove them.

Additional information: If I go into the guide in my web browser, where I'm able to filter by source, none of the sources show the additional channels that are showing up in my guide. I only see these additional channels when I select "All". If I go one at a time through my actual sources, none of them display these channels in the guide.

In the web ui go to settings, live tv and dvr, guide data, hit the gear, select delete and recreate database.
