Channels DVR on my Mac got 'confused' and required an uninstall and re-install.
After the re-install I pointed Channels DVR back to the same DVR folder.
New recordings are being placed in the folder.
How do I get DVR Recordings that were made with the previous install of Channels DVR added so that Channels DVR Apps can see all the recordings new and old.
Any ideas welcome and appreciated.
After a reinstall, you can open http://127.0.0.1:8089/restore to restore your old passes/recordings etc. You can still do this now, but you will lose new recordings made since the reinstall. You've ended up with two different databases of recordings and there is no way to merge them.
Thanks, lost 4 recording but gained 125 recordings so overall a success.
Shouldn't 'see' all the previous recording and just add them to the DB when re-installed?
Especially as the only way to get Channels working again was and uninstall and a re-install?
