HULU TVE Auth codes

Hey, has anyone else ran into HULU prompting for a code when trying to sign into TVE? I have tried deleting devices, signing in from the same pc, signing into nbc.com/live and cannot seem to get past this hurdle.

Has anyone found a workaround or is it time to switch providers?

The last time I had that issue I had to change my password on Hulu and delete everything and start over. Not sure if you had tried that already or not. But that was when Hulu and Disney were trying to get their systems talking to each other which was a while ago.

Thanks, yeah I gave that a shot as well. On the phone with Hulu and they are of no help unfortunately.

EDIT: their "Solution" was to delete the HULU account and resubscribe with an alternate email address which I am not willing to do. Signed up for Philo in the meantime until this can possibly be sorted out.

I ended up getting these annoying verifications again for TVE after all my messing around with the chrome capture for channels and this time logging in via a browser on the tve/channels server isn’t working. Got so annoyed with it I’m pretty much over Hulu now. Looking at YTTV, Philo, and Fubo with trails…My only issue with Philo is I haven’t been able to figure it out with the chrome capture for channels so down to two options now

Let me know how it goes but I am pretty much feeling as you are - completely over Hulu now.

I’ve only had the Hulu code issue once and was able to reauthorize fairly easily by updating chrome, logging in and out of hulu’s site repeatedly on my server machine until it required a code. Input the code, visited discovery’s website and watched, back to Hulu to watch a live channel via web, and then rescan in channels.

If it were to happen again I think my first try would be to scan by attaching my server machine to my mobile hotspot. If that doesn’t work I would try the above again.

Unfortunately I have tried all of the above. Once your account is flagged (mine came from the Chrome capture thingie) it seems to stick.

Yep.

In case anyone else ends up in this situation the fix is cancelling the account and signing back up with an alternate email address.

So…no 2FA at all or will it come back after a bit…don’t know if I wanna go through it again

Haven't seen one single 2FA since the new account.
