HuluLive

When will Channels upgrade the source of HuluLive to include the nine new Viacom stations. I had AT&TV and those lineups were in the guide.

If your HuluLive credentials let you watch the channels here
https://getchannels.com/docs/channels-dvr-server/tv-everywhere/availability/#Hulu

It should work from Channels DVR. Are you running the latest pre-release version of Channels DVR?

You will want to go to the web sites of the nine stations and make sure Hulu has been added to the login options for these stations. If so, from the station web site, login to the live feed to test your account.

That's what the link above does.
The devs put it up so it's easy for someone to do it from one place instead of finding all the websites to login to.

That the problem. The stations are on HuluLive and credentials also work, but the stations do not appear in the guide.

Did you rescan the channels?

Make sure you're updated to the latest prerelease version of Channels DVR server.
Check out the troubleshooting tips here

As @mike_here mentioned, if you haven’t authorized those channels in your Hulu source, or rescanned all the channels for Hulu, they likely won’t show up on their own. I know when Comcast recently removed Cartoon Network from our paid tier (still trying to find a viable alternative) it was listed in my source until I edited the individual channel.

I really appreciate the responses. I have done what everyone has suggested. I even deleted the HuluLive as a source and did a rescan. Still the channels do not appear. The only difference I have spotted is that the channels everywhere have HULU not HULULIVE as the providers.

I would recommend submitting diagnostics from the DVR interface if you haven’t already, so the Devs can take a look.

When you followed the troubleshooting link I provided, what were the error messages next to those channels?

As @Macnbaish said, Use the Support tab in the Channels DVR Server web admin to do a troubleshooting test and send diagnostics.

You need to update to prerelease s

I only mentioned that twice. Maybe he'll take the hint now.
Version 2021.05.01.1631 or later. Latest version is https://channels-dvr.s3.amazonaws.com/prerelease.json

I learned that's the first step in troubleshooting TVE issues and think it should be added as first step in this article https://getchannels.com/docs/channels-dvr-server/tv-everywhere/troubleshooting/#troubleshooting-channels

Update to the latest prerelease version of Channels DVR Server https://getchannels.com/docs/channels-dvr-server/how-to/pre-release/#how-do-i-update-to-the-pre-release-version

The server shows updated. Also I did send the troubleshooting logs to support.

Who would have thought that there was a pre-release drop down on the update tab. Thanks @chDVRuser. All is well now.

I don't know if this is on Hulu's end or Channel's end, but it appears something may have been transposed in the TVE code.
I'm in the Pacific time zone but Paramount P is not available to me but all other P designated stations are.

Not sure if this will cause issues with recording as of yet. Just found it interesting and a bit amusing

Channels is awesome and the Dev's are super responsive, keep up the GREAT work!

Not just you, but it seems to be across all regions. What would normally only authenticate for Pacific regions are granted only the Eastern feed of Paramount. This has been the case for quite some time now.
