I can't find PIP

What gives?

I was excited to try it but PIP is lost. I don't see it in iOS. I don't see it as an option under Playback on AppleTV.

I know on the AppleTV there is no PIP because Channels doesn't use the native video player... assume the same thing must be in iOS.

Be sure you have version 4.4.0 of the Apple TV app.

Version 4.4.0 requires iOS 14+. It may be that your device is still on iOS 13. Update to 14.4 that was released today, and the option to update will be available.

Little help...
Updated Apple TV os to 14.4
I’m not sure how to find version of Apple TV app..

I cannot find where to turn on under playback PIP (doesn’t exist)
In appletv app, watching a channel (hockey) I can swipe down for quick menu and see “view” far left greyed out... is that it?

In appletv OS settings there is no “playback setting “ if it’s in there somewhere I have gone thru all settings....

In channels app. No pip option in playback section...

I do NOT have the 4K edition of the appletv device itself...

Any ideas?

Go to the App Store, search for Channels, click Update.

Well don’t i feel silly...
I had auto update on and assumed all apps would be kept up tot date ...
