I had to move my server to another computer

Now when I plug my DVR drive into my new computer my Channels DVR server sees the drive but it's not recognizing all the tv programs recorded on it.
Am I missing something? What would I need to do to be able to watch all my shows?
Thanks!
Len

I don't have access to the old server database. I only have whats on the drive.
Is there any way to get the new computer server to recognize all the programs I had recorded?

The root directory holding the recordings should have these directories:

  • Database
  • Images
  • Logs
  • Movies
  • Streaming (optionally)
  • TV

The Database directory will have your time-stamped backed-up database files.

Edit: To elaborate, here's an ASCII tree of what that directory structure looks like:

|--Database
| |--backup-YYYYMMDD.HHMMSS
| | |--recorder.db
| | `--settings.db
| `--backup-YYYYMMDD.HHMMSS (present for as many backups you have)
| |--recorder.db
| `--settings.db
|--Images (thumbnail previews generated of recordings)
| |--preview-${fileID}.jpg
| `--preview-${fileID}.jpg
|--Logs
| |--comskip (present if commercial detection is enabled)
|  |  |--${fileID}
| | | |--comskip.ini
| | | |--video.edl
| | | |--video.ffmeta
| | | |--video.ffsplit
| | | |--video.log
| | | |--video.mpg (link to original recording)
| | | |--video.txt
| | | `--video.vdr
