Sometimes comskip just gets it totally wrong. We were watching an episode of The Price is Right at Night the other day and the comskip was WAY off. We had to backup and then inch forward a half a dozen times for this one episode.
I would like to request that while watching a show, you can click an option that would say ignore comskip for this playback.
I would really appreciate this. I made a similar suggestion in a related discussion a few months ago, but I think it was ignored.
TV shows have their own options for Commecial Skip style. Usually if a show isn’t great with commecial indexing is, it never is. Turning it off at this level might help.
Did not realize that was an option.
But it raises another problem I am having. Series pass never works for The Price is Right at Night since each episode is a "special" (i.e. no S00E00 designation). How do I create a series pass for that without getting the daily shows?
