So on my parents iMac, we have the DVR service running. The computer has been crashing routinely for a while now and my parents are starting to think it’s the DVR service that’s crashing it. Is There a way to post the crash logs here for someone to look at, if it’s not the DVR service, I’d like to figure out what app it is. Thanks
What kind of iMac? What version of macOS?
And what do you mean by crashing? Is there a message shown on screen? What happens to the Mac?
27" imac sandy bridge i7 16gb ram. running high sierra. It looks like it has a kernel panic and the OS crashes and reboots. It comes up with the white screen saying press any key to reboot or it just reboots automatically after the white screen.
Sounds like a High Sierra bug, or some third-party kernel extension installed.
