I’m a new channels DVR user, and it is working great. Much better than Plex. I understand that sleep must be disabled for the iMac to function as an always available server. But the screen on the machine never turns off, even when set for “off at 1 minute”. Anyone else have this issue?
Screen saver does trigger. But I prefer the screen to go dark.
Edit: It was a Steam app keeping the screen on. This is great, I can use my expensive lightly used iMac as a Channels server. I may turn off hardware transcoding just to make use of the excess CPU cycles
