I am trying to import my movie library contents located on my Synology NAS which also has the Channels DVR and live TV. When I go to import my existing media the folder structure shows the main folder where the content folders are but nothing beyond that and no movie files. The movies are all in the mp4 format. The folder is shared also.
You probably need to give it permissions to the channels internal user via the Synology interface
I'm new to all this but that was it thank you. I thought sharing it internally on the same system would be all that was necessary but yes it was permissions. Thank you so much.
