Improved Subtitle Support

Hello,
I am very interested in using virtual channels but have 2 main concerns

  1. Guide Updates on Apple TV: The guide doesn't always refresh properly, often showing past airings. It's confusing but not a major issue for me.

  2. Subtitle Support with Channels DVR: My deal-breaker is the lack of support for Plex subtitle standards, Particularly forced subtitles. My media is meticulously organized with external subtitles, but they don't appear when using virtual channels or the library feature.

Here are 2 examples from my library:

Movies

Avatar (2009).mkv
Avatar (2009).en.ass
Avatar (2009).en.forced.ass

TV Shows

Silicon Valley - S04E10.mkv
Silicon Valley - S04E10.en.ass
Silicon Valley - S04E10.en.forced.ass

I hope these issues can be addressed in future updates.

Thanks for the examples. Please try the latest pre-release.

Thanks for the quick update. The subtitles are now being recognized correctly, which is a significant improvement. However, I did notice that the Apple TV client still does not automatically display forced subtitles. While browsing the forum I realized that might be more appropriate for the Apple TV feature requests section, so I'll make sure to post it there. Thanks again really appreciate it.
