With the new "Richer views for Library Movies and Shows" thing added to beta, that is edging a tad closer to how Infuse presents things, I would like to mention my suggestions and Wishlist for further Improvements to Channels app.
GUI Look and Feel

Theme color support.

Black/OLED theme (my #1 and most desired improvement)

Solid color theme selection (various colors, give users options to choose what they like)

Transparent background Playback OSD UI elements

Slimmer / reduced sized Playback OSD UI Elements mode.

Reduced sized of live playback OSD menus to be less obtrusive.

Minimalist mode. Remove the redundant media title info from the seekbar area and just have a slim seekbar, transparent background or no background. This combined with a slimmer, more compact top bar menu, really would make things look more modern and sleek.
(one can already view media Info from the topbar menu Info tab, why does it need to also be on the seekbar?)

Zoom Mode option. Add option to Options tab of top bar of playback UI, for Fit to Screen.
(so that i can make a letterboxed wide screen movie full screen, Infuse has this option, Crop (preferred) or Stretch. (double tap remote center button only seem to trigger tis in apps that use the Native Apple player) -
Add options in client app to Scan for New Personal Media and Prune Removed media.
That's the main things i can think of at the moment.

I can also expand upon use case or reasons why i could use and want these suggestions, upon request.
