I have two HDHomeRun tuners with antennas pointed in different directions. The primary Quatro has disabled channels which are then enable on a Duo. The problem that I have is that the weaker disabled channels on the Quatro will tunes in the channels rather than the enabled channels on the Duo. I tested this on the HDHomeRun application, and it works as expected with the Duo being used for the disabled channels on the Quatro.
Am I missing something here or is this a known problem?
Check the settings on the client devices. Favorites and disabled channels are not necessarily the same on the client and the tuner. Check the devices in Settings > Manage Sources to ensure your settings are as expected.
If you are using an Android device, you can also choose to import the device states from the Manage Sources menu, too. Also remember the settings in the DVR web UI are using for recording, and different from the clients' settings which are used for viewing.
You may also want to check the priority of the tuners in the client, as that may affect how the guide is presented and which tuner is chosen.
Thats what I needed, just a little reminder to sync Favorites/Hidden on the client. I figured I was missing something.
