Does anyone know if Channels DVR keeps an index of previous recordings? I would like to take my TVE recordings, remux them to remove commercials, and move them to my Plex Media directory. However, if an episode was previous recorded, I don't want it to be recorded again because the file has been moved. Is there an index somewhere, or does the DVR just sense the file no longer exists and re-records it if the episode re-airs?
Yes, Channels DVR keeps track of what it recorded and won't record it again.
Unless you tell it to re-record deleted episodes.
The only thing I've seen that it will keep recording are certain specials, but episodes and movies won't be re-recorded.
