Info banner when TV is paused wont go away

If I’m watching TV via the Channels app and I press pause, the info banner remains there and wont go away. This is frustrating because I can’t read anything on the screen behind the banner. Is there anyway to remove it or make it auto hide after some time?

Are you using the Siri remote?

If you “click” the remote to pause, you can then “tap” to hide/show the timeline.

Yes, you can click UP to toggle on Android/FireTV.
