Can you open Terminal.app and run:
ls -alh ~/Library/LaunchAgents
and then copy/paste the output back here.
Thanks. Here you go:
total 0
drwxr-xr-x 2 root staff 64B Jan 25 11:19 .
drwx------@ 59 goldenbear staff 1.8K Jan 25 15:35 …
Looks like the permissions are wrong. Not sure why.
Run this command to fix, it will ask for your password:
sudo chown $(id -u) ~/Library/LaunchAgents
You’re a star. It worked. Odd that would be the case. Just did a fresh OS install today and am setting up exclusively as a media server.
If the installation completes now, then yes you probably want to restore your old recordings/passes.
My install on a new Mac Mini is also hanging but don’t get the last error message. My permissions are as follows:
Plexs-Mac-mini:~ plexserver$ ls -alh ~/Library/LaunchAgents
total 128
drwx------ 3 plexserver staff 102B Jan 24 05:08 .
drwx------@ 59 plexserver staff 2.0K Jan 23 22:05 …
-rw-r–r-- 1 plexserver staff 521B Jan 24 05:08 com.backblaze.bzbmenu.plist
Plexs-Mac-mini:~ plexserver$
Does the “u” in the command get replaces by my user name?
Your permissions look fine. Can you please take a screenshot of what the installer looks like when its stuck and post it here or email [email protected]
